BNDG explores the fragile intersection of intimacy, control, and loneliness. The work reflects on how emotional isolation can reshape the ways connection is sought, blurring the line where tenderness meets more forceful or conflicted gestures. Within this altered state of mind, actions meant to create closeness can instead become coping mechanisms, forms of control that offer momentary relief but ultimately deepen the sense of emptiness. Shame becomes an integral layer of the piece, surfacing in the tension between desire and self-perception. Through this interplay, BNDG examines how the search for intimacy can become entangled with harm, and how vulnerability persists even in attempts to mask it.
